The Meridian, Idaho Temple

The Meridian, Idaho Temple was announced on April 2, 2011 by President Thomas S. Monson. It was dedicated on November 19, 2017 by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. There are Three ordinance rooms (two-stage progressive) and five sealing rooms in the temple. The Meridian Idaho Temple is the fifth temple built in Idaho, following the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple (1945), the Boise Idaho Temple (1984), the Rexburg Idaho Temple (2008), and the Twin Falls Idaho Temple (2008). The Meridian Idaho Temple is one of six temples built with no towers or spires. (The others are the Laie Hawaii Temple, the Cardston Alberta Temple, the Mesa Arizona Temple, the Paris France Temple, and the Lima Peru Los Olivos Temple.)
